I was going through the tracker and found a username "margocan", AOR 11th Jan and In process 12th Jan. Is it true? If it is, then congrats and its a good sign but if not, how do we confirm?

The Acknowledgment of Receipt "AOR" means they contact with you to acknowledge that they received your application, and when it happens you will have this line too:
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on ....

Everyone's case is different. You cannot compare. It is believed that IRCC performs some basic background checks through GCMS after AOR, and before status changes to In Process.
The processing time for grant of citizenship applications is 12 months according to IRCC. Assume it will take that long.
