Absolutely nothing to worry about. October applicants are still getting AOR. You're in the queue.

As long as your application is complete, you will get AOR sooner or later.

Though my app originally delievered on Nov 23 but then returned for a missing doc. App resent and delivered on Dec 28. The package states that my and my spouse app is complete but not for the child and I need to add a doc and resent the package back. Do you think this may cause delays in my AOR?
Also, my child's India passport is expiring in Sept'2018. I was wondering whether I need to renew it by the time citizenship case is in process?

Any comments.

I am not sure about the passport thing, so I hope someone else will answer you.

You don't have to if you do not want to. Let them know during your interview/ test that you do not intend to renew passport after Sept'18 and would wait for Oath and Canadian passport. You can cite reasons as you do not plan to travel and save money for renewal.
