Tough to predict- could be anywhere between 1 week and 6 months after test (Take a look at the spreadsheet)

You can expect oath sooner in Missausaga, but Scarborough takes forever

We live in Oshawa. Got the invite to write the Citizenship test at Scarborough office however got the invite to take oath in Mississauga. Not sure the reasoning behind it.

Just got the invite for my Oath. December 14th. My Test was on November 5th. And my app was delivered November 30th last year so - almost - one year. Happy to become Canadian! Good luck to everybody still waiting for your test or ceremony. It will happen sooner or later. Best of luck!

4-6 months minimum. I am in the same boat and today my 1 year has been passed and application is still in process.

I took the test at the Mississauga office earlier today. Passed it with 20/20 and the interview was quite standard (took about 10 minutes). The officer said she has no concerns and told me to expect the oath invite 1-2 months from now. Status of ECAS still IP. It was a long wait from IP to test invitation. Definitely extending past the 12 month time frame. I don't mind as long as it doesn't take another 6 months.
