I added surnames with my name and eveyone from my family, before I get permanent residency. Do I have to provide anything with my application for the changed names. My all certificates contain old names. Passports and PR cards contain new names.
I realized I made an errror in question 9c, « have you resided outside Canada during your eligibility period” by answering yes, I called CIC they said I can wait and see if they return my application, or they might accept it, they are still in OCT 23d, so they said 3-4 weeks to get to my application. (Received nov 16)
I have a corrected application with an explanation letter and will send today

It would depend on the officer reviewing your application, whether s/he chooses to return it or accept it. There have been cases where people who did what you did, and still got AOR, while others got their applications returned. I'm not sure whether it's a good idea to mail another application. When did you send the first one ?

I would agree with @razerblade, as he said some applicants were in your shoes and still got AOR (even though this still doesn't mean their application won't be sent back during the processing phase). This is a very tricky question. If you click on the HELP button beside the question, it details that the question should be answered "Yes" if you are a Crown Servant applicant. If you clicked "No" and put the time spent away in your physical presence calculator (and you get an officer with common sense), you should be fine. I would suggest not sending them anything just yet. Don't panick, you should still be good but either way, its your decision what you want to do.
