Test was really easy 20/20 for me, but apparently there are several different versions of the test booklet given to others in the room. One lad was bawling that she is going to fail as soon as we left the room. The interview was straightforward, just verified documents, matched stamps on the passport, general chit chat to check conversation skills and then the officer said "I have made my decision and I will be forwarding the documents to the case processing center. I will get my Oath letter soon."
So... I live in etobicoke (gta) and all this time thought my papers will be in scarborough. Got my gcms notes today and my secondary office is Mississauga IRCC... is this unfortunate or not? I’m seeing some movements from Scarborough but not Mississauga.
Also it says on GCMS notes paper file office: CPC Sydney location: In transit — does that mean its on its way to Mississauga IRCC?
then another info I can decipher is that under criminality check it states ‘Passed’. Other checks (knowledge, residence, language, prohibition) ‘Not Started’.
Lastly, i requested GCMS notes on 4/20, the notes that was sent to me said it was generated on 4/23. So its almost a month since these info are correct. I wonder where my app is now. Sigh.
In process since Jan 16. Every time I called or request through IRCC web form reply is your application is still under processing time so you will be informed if anything is needed.
When did you first sent your application (November?, what day) and when did you went in process in Ecas?..
Guys if Noo is a November applicant then this is a greattttt news for all Mississauga applicants.. oh man Noo will be the first November applicant from Mississauga to receive test invite, so exciting..
Couple of days ago spoke to very nice lady in the call center. Definitely there is no impact on your application-calling or not. She was kind enough to share with me that my application is in Missisauga. However still showing in transit on her system because Missisauga office didn’t acknowledge that they received it. She said that this is normal, especially for Missisauga office as they have backlog. She doesn’t know with how long they are behind, but this is the fact. Asked her if I can switch out of GTA- she said that only if I’m moving out. Within GTA applications are equally spreading between Missisauga and Scarborough.
The tests do vary, but the one I sat was pretty basic. I believe the only date I was asked for Confederation. 1 or 2 readthroughs of Discover Canada, and you'll be fine!
