My mom's application has been in process since February 14 and no interview invite received yet. They're relocating to Vancouver from Surrey in June. Would my mom's file be transferred to the Vancouver office? Thanks!

Hello All,

I have a question. I visited Dubai in 2016. Do I need to translate there entry and exist stamp on my passport? Please can some one that has gone through this enlighten me on this. Thanks.

No, because stamps should have entry and exit dates in English too.

@Shinning moon. Thank you so much for your input. I actually applied for Dubai Visa for 2 week . I was in Dubai for 2 weeks and my passport was stamped in and out . I was just wondering if I won't be needing a entry and exist from Dubai translation.
When you had your interview, did the officer stree you on the stamp translation? Thanks

At Dubai Airport, stamps have entry and exit dates in English too so you don't need translation.

YEP, THE ECAS IS CHANGED TODAY AND i RECEIVED THE EMAIL THIS MORNING.

Just spoke with a rep at CIC and they said they'd transferred my file to the Mississauga office, and that the test invite is standing. Is this the normal procedure? Do they always transfer the apps to the local offices to coordinate the test dates?

Yes. Only the local offices can arrange test and oath.
