It wont be so hard for you to find apartment in Halifax. There are many property agents in Halifax who will show you many apartments as per your budget and location where you want to live. The most popular one is Killam Properties. and there are many others too like Olympus etc. You may try to talk with them.
I have landed in Halifax on the 19th of June. How much do the real estate agents you have mentioned charged you for looking for a property for you? Also, how much can you expect to pay (reasonable price) for an apartment with one bedroom, kitchen, living including heat, water in Halifax?
If you are around Halifax we could meet for the beer!!!! <: Let me know will send you my number in PM.
No updates even after more than 5 months. Just background check in progress since 7 June. I will surely update you all on the forum once everything is done

Oh great
Congrats and welcome in Halifax.
Honestly speaking I have never been with any property agent for myself well I have always different things and experiences in my life, just forget about that. You might expect 700- 900 for one bedroom depend upon location, building and view.
My friend I am way far from Halifax at this moment. I am in West of Canada. But hopefully see you soon.
Please check your inbox I sent you my number. you can text me anytime if you need any assistance in Halifax.
Hi Seniors!
In a few days more I will apply for the NPNS as a semi skilled worker (NOC C), my boss asked in immigration if I can apply for me and my boyfriend as common- law (He is NOC C too, we work at the same company) immigration NS said yes, but I want to know if anyone have done this, or you have any problem with the common law application due to the NOC C. A friend went to a lawyer and he said that we can't not do it because our NOC.
Please let me know if you have been in the same situation.
