hello guys i got ADR and they just asked few question about the settlement plan in Nova scotia. My NOC is 2171 (IT business analyst) and i got AOR on 28th december 2016. Here are the questions asked by the officer. I need your help and opinion to answer these questions.
1. What do you want to do in Nova Scotia and what are your goals here?
2.Provide three reasons why you decided on Nova Scotia as your immigration destination in Canada.
3.What do you intend to do upon arrival to Nova Scotia? How are you going to settle in?
4. Have you made connections with individuals or institutions in Nova Scotia that could provide assistance or support to your settlement plan in Nova Scotia? List all the connections or ties including professional networks and affiliations that you have stablished in Nova Scotia.
5. Are you taking steps to ensure your immediate and long term employability in Nova Scotia? Do you have any prospective employers or contacts in Nova Scotia?
7. Have you applied to other provincial immigration program since the date of submission of your application?
8. Are you prepared for the challenges that come with a move to Nova Scotia? Would you go back to your country if you were unable to settle in Nova Scotia?
Any one know people got nomination in NS even their siblings are residing in other province of Canada? Should it be barrier? Seniors expertise requested on this.
Thanks,
Yes Definitely its a big barrier as it create doubt on your intention to settle in Nova Scotia , you must have strong reason to justify your situation that why you want to settle in NS
However its not like they will reject your application, they will give you opportunity to put your views and evidences so try your best to convince them and show your true intention.

yes i was asked a similar question i.e. "why have you selected Nova Scotia over Ontario where you and your family have significant ties and had previously intended to live"
i answered by talking abt status changes (i got married) and have my own family and responsibilities. that i do not have intentions of reuniting wt my siblings. i also mentioned that that there are a lot of beautiful places and job opportunities in NS that will keep me busy when i relocate. i also mention ed that Ontario is too big and busy for the lifestyle i want for my family. i said these and little more...
you can borrow a leaf from this and also add other convincing points....
may i inform you that it took 24 hrs to get my nominations after ADR reply.
