I don't think its necessary. However, if you are not sending any document(s) in checklist than you can send covering letter, mention reason why you are not sending this particular document(s).

Yes, Just seal your envelope. I think all courier services do this by default.

Application for Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee

Dear colleagues,

My family and I have applied for the Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program. My application was sent via FedEx last April 10,2014 and they received it on the 15th of the same month. My concern is that how come that until now I have not received yet any reply/letter coming from them informing us whether our application has been approved or not. I just want to seek for an advice on how to follow up my application to them for me to know what will be the next thing to do. I believe that their processing only takes 2 to 3 weeks time that is why I am seeking for a help regarding this matter.

I don't think it will be problem but you need to keep ready your passport with at least 1 year validity when CIC will ask for submit

Nova Scotia PNP will issue only 150 nominations for RLMD this year 2014. Right now they issued more than 120 nominations (as per forum) from those applicants who applications received till 14 or 15 March 2014. As your application is reached in April 2014, I think you have less chance to get approval this year. May be you hear from NS office in couple of weeks about your application.

I will suggest you, ready your documents for Jan 2015.
