Good like, Hope soon you will get a Positive answer.

just believe.

I want to share some news, and ask a question,

recently, one of my friends got approval.

but It was a little difficult.

First hearing he got reject.
He appealed and waited more than 1 year, (13 months) and he was accepted as Convention Refugee.
So, just waited and at the end, he was accepted.

My question is another.

I know another person, he had hearing in August, and until this time, almost 4 months he does not get any news.

Did you or your friends have something like that?

Think it would be good to follow-up on whether the letter has been sent. Things do get lost. Better to doublecheck since 4 months is above average processing time.

Thank you for your reply. I asked him, he says he contacted his lawyer, no news, and lawyer said that there some others who not get the answers before him.
But another one whose hearing was after two days later his, got an answer maybe 2 weeks ago.

In practice could it happen usually?

There is a lot of variability.
