Hi, need some advice here. I emailed the school informing that I might be late for orientation or the 1st day of class since I haven't receive my Visa yet. The college replied informing me that they won't accept late starts esp. the program that I chose and advised not to book a ticket. However, I heard from others that the institution would consider once the student is in Canada and knew that last year they allowed international students to be late at least 1-2 weeks. Hence, I took the earliest flight to Toronto, the same day I got my student visa.
Orientation started on May 1st and class on the 6th. I arrived in Canada on May 8 in the evening and went to the college the next day and ask if I can still be admitted to the course program. Unfortunately they are very strict in their rules and didn't accept me even though I already payed my tuition for one year.
I don't have a choice but to get into other College. I am currently waiting for my LOA for September Intake from another school. I am pretty aware that I am not allowed to work. I'm at my Relative's place for the mean time.
Here are my concerns:
1. Would my long stay in Canada affect my student Visa extension and application for PGWP?
2. Would it be better to take part time course while waiting for the next intake just so that I have an activity proving that I am not working?
My Agency is in contact with the college with regards to that. I am also waiting for their update. But I am also communicating with the school with regards to my tuition refund. The school informed me they would proceed with the process once I can give them a copy of my new LOA.
Yeah that's what I am thinking also but I read some article that it would affect the application of PGWP if i will get part time course. That I am not sure, I'm hoping someone knowlegeable about this can enlighten me.

Thanks but do U have idea if my long stay in Canada would affect my student Visa extension?
My Visa will end on March 2020 but my full time course will start this sept.
