hey guys,do you know how long is it for normal processing time from sending application to receive acknowledgment letter?

I sent my application 13th of this month,so they may give me the letter of receipt from December to January?I can track my parcel and it will get there following monday,so actually the only thing that i can get is that they have received it by their mail distribution center.nothing else.right?
