Id raised a webform earlier to which I got a reply today that said my application is currently under review by an officer.

No way, Georgia does not have a Canadian Embassy, only a visa application center. I think it will be the nearest country which has , such as Turkey.

Ghana. My webforms always get automated replies. So I ordered gcms notes.

Oh Turkey. If it’s Turkey then I think it’s a bit normal because Turkey takes much longer to process

you see this is what we were mentioning above. Your eligibility showed not started but webform response says an officer is reviewing your application which means your eligibility has indeed started.

No. Your application gets processed from the designated visa office of the country you are applying from i.e. the one you currently are in. You can look the visa office up on the IRCC website along side the country name.

I am also waiting, applied for a 1 year Course. The course starts in the beginning of Jan 2024
as per the site it was always 6-7 weeks processing time, but already 8 weeks gone.
Lates as per site is 6 weeks.

20th April 2023 Application received
21st April 2023 Biometric message
26th Biometric 2023 Completed

No any upgrades in the tracker long time
Biometric - Completed
Medical - Not started( but i did it in advance )
Eligibility - Not Started
Background- In progress

Yes, Near Georgia is Turkey ( so it means Canadian Embassy in Turkey is looking for my case )

Its taking too long man. I mean i get it theyre looking at my application but theyve been doing do for too long. I need to get a decision so I know what im gonna do next. I got other plans that I don’t want to put in motion just yet before I get a response on this study permit thing

i get it mate. I’m entering my 9th week and its getting on my nerves. Hopefully next week we get to hear some good news.

No it doesn’t. It gets processed from country of residence.
