Dear seniors
I have few questions regarding Non-accompanying family members:
1- Whether non-accompanying family members mean those family members for which principal/primary applicant
has not applied initially for PR and would not accompnay him/her on 1st visit to Canada ?
2- Whether proof of funds also include for non-accompanying family members ?
Dear seniors
I have few questions regarding Non-accompanying family members:
1- Whether non-accompanying family members mean those family members for which principal/primary applicant
has not applied initially for PR and would not accompnay him/her on 1st visit to Canada ? Yes
2- Whether proof of funds also include for non-accompanying family members ? Yes
1. These are the family members you would mark as not accompanying on your application. They would still have to have a medical etc. and you could sponsor them later. You could also include them even if they can't accompany you on your first visit since they could still arrive after you.
2. Yes, because the proof of funds is supposed to show that you can support yourself and your family while you look for a job and get settled. If you don't have to have proof of funds for your whole family, it would open the option to apply as a single person and show only $10,000 but then apply sponsor the rest of your family the day you arrive in Canada because you don't need to prove funds or income to sponsor your spouse and kids.
Yes they all are right........In my case my spouse and Kids are not accompnying me to canada but they have requested proof of funds for whole 4 members. 20300cd.
your reply indicates that you have not applied initialy PR for your family. Do they also gone under medical, etc.
My point is whats the benefit for not applying for the family ( including/accompanying in your application) when you have to fullfill all requirements for your family i.e funds, poilce check, etc.
