At the time I had been working in Alberta for 12 months and I think my CRS before nomination was around 386

I was on an IEC visa (open work permit), no study history in Canada

I am currently on PGWV and planning on applying to the AINP.

I am in AB and my NOC would be 2282 - user support technicians - and it is related to my diploma - IT.
Using the CRS tool, my score is 358.

Do I need to create an Express Entry profile to apply for the AINP ?

If you’re job is related to your finished program, you can submit your AINP AOS directly. You just need 6 months of work experience.

Also, do they still use the points to rank candidates ? Or is it different for AINP AOS ?
