I contacted them via email, this is what she provided (although not very helpful)

Please note, the AINP has made some temporary adjustments to application and assessment processes in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Details are available on the AINP website.

Alberta Express Entry Stream applications where there is no recent history of employment in Alberta will not be processed until further notice. The AINP will continue to do draws but will only nominate individuals who are already living and working in Alberta and if the occupations is not on a refusal to process list. All other individuals will remain in the pool until this policy changes or until their profile expires. This policy will be reviewed when federal travel restrictions are lifted. Unemployment and economic factors will also be considered
