Health care related occupations are not going anywhere. Canada has the highest life expectancy in the world. Most of the native population is OLD (comparatively) and only the immigrants are young. So, do the math. They will need a lot of medical related occupations in the future.
My 2 cents.
Hi All - I have sent my application to CIO today Apr 8th, and it will be in CIO office by Apr 12th. however i havent given the IELTS yet. what will happen? can any please assist me?
book the IELTS exam if u r prepared, score the highest mark required to get 16 points for ur 1st language efficiency & then attach the original IELTS score when sending full docs to local CHC

What do you think about financial manager? Is there a chance that this occupation is no longer in such demand in Canada as it was before? Is there a chance for occupational health and safety manager or specialist to be updated on new list?

Number 2 point is not correct. Here is the correct version... Applicants can still self asess languahe prof and apply to CIO without IELTS results since this is not required by them although u have to check whether u have taken IELTS or not in one of the forms....... all applications recieved by CIO on or after 10th april will only have one chance to submit their IELTS to their local visa office.... previously if candidate had claimed language proficiency through a letter was to be privided another chance by visa officer if visa officer felt letter did not substantiate the language abilities...... now even for engilsh speaking countries visa officers will not give a second chance to candidate if letter does nt meet their requirements........
CIO application process:
1- fill in all forms.
2- Attached demand draft (if payment mode is not online or through credit card)
3- Attach passport copy of principal applicant.
4- attach two self addressed labels. one in english and second in native language.

@ ALL
hey there
as of now there are 2 updates for FSW
1) they are getting the market review and will launch a new list somewhere between august-september
2) from 10 april onwards the requirement if IELTS will be with initial file to CIO,,,,,which means the bands or english level u have at the time of filing the application to CIO nova scotia will b final,,,,,so one has to get the IELTS score and then file first papers
No offense to any one... but I have seen so many times such news for USA GC; that this is internal news by such & such internal member of such & such dept.
- Imp. is this information is not officially confirmed, so one might be curious to know more about source of news.
- Second, for instance, if a point is discussed may not be included in the final draft (& you have mentioned in your post that "there is a vague info")
- Third if one see above mentioned categories; all belongs to Finance & IT sector Managers; for which one needs good education & good experience background. To me it is hard to believe that these would be eliminate from NOC list...
Again no offense & but one has their on point of view on unofficial news.
