NOC code for PRODUCT MANAGER (SOFTWARE) ?

Good afternoon everyone... I have gotten through the chat related to the NOC code for a product manager... But still finding difficult to know my noc code... because Noc Code 60010(corporate sales manager) main duties ,doesn't not align with the role of a product manager at all.

So i checked noc code 21221(Business system specialists) main duty most closely aligns with a product manager role .

Then Noc code 20012(computer and information systems manager)main duties fits mainly into the role of an IT manager or information systems manager.


Pls has any pass this stage.

Did you end up choosing 21221 or 20012?

I am in the same boat as you, I have 3 yrs previous work experience as BA and then my current role is Product Manager (but internally mentioned as Product Analyst), my roles and responsibilities aligns more with 21221 than 60010.

I'm also a fellow Product Manager (focusing on user experience, working with tech, etc, to ship products / features) with 5+ yrs of experience. Did you conclude the NoC code? Should be go with NOC 20012 – Computer and Information Systems Managers ??

I had to stick with 21221 as my responsibilities were more aligned with those and also I didn't have much experience as per requirements for 20012.

I think I also will do 21221 as that's bit less technical than 20012

not yet. I am also waiting for ITA. Hoping to get soon. But they removed this code from STEM category. If the other code is still coming in STEM Category, you should think about that...

They have removed STEM itself from priority categories, meaning no new draws. I think I'll go with 21221 (same as yours) as it'll be better justifiable than the other when ITA comes.
