NOC Code and the Reference Letter

Hi Guys,

When I created my Express Entry profile, I filled 2173 against the NOC and I have now received the ITA. But I find the NOC 2172 to be more precise and apt for my current Job. It doesn't mean that 2173 is totally irrelevant but 2172 is accurate. In fact, 2173 and 2172 Job roles are similar to each other.

If prepare my Reference Letter as per 2173 Roles and responsibilities, will there be any issue?

What should I be doing now? Suggestions please.

Helllo ! .. You have two ways :

Either change NOC and apply again , for sure you will only have to wait for another draw roughly two weeks and there is no loss .

Secondly if you can tailor your employment letter as per the current chosen NOC ,then proceed . Just to share my expereince , we have applied earlier with my spouse as primary candidate with NOC 2171 , and got refusal after 5th month i.e. in almost last stage and that was so disheartening but in the refusal letter officer's statement was " iam not satisfied with the duties you have mentioned in the employment letter as per the NOC 2171.
So, these 217* series NOC's are bit confusing make sure you go through the lead statement and duties thoroughly and prepare your letter accordingly.If your employer is not willing to assist you in the letter as per your need , then try to match the NOC exactly as the letter will be issued to you .

Dear Friend,

I have decided to change the NOC while applying for the PR with the same ITA. I have heard its pretty common issue of changing the NOC and the same has to be explained in the LOE.

I got my reference letter from ex employer... he printed my letter’s 1 page on his letter pad and rest of the pages were printed on simple a4 sheet paper with stamp on each paper...

will this be approved by immigration authorities canada or i should request him to print all sheet on letter pad ???

Her roles and responsibilities as below :

1. Extract, update and modify the data from the database

management tool such as SharePoint.

2. Obtaining data from the data set using SQL (Structured Query

Language) then analyse the data using the programming skills

according to the client’s requirements and to comprehend the data

and report it manger.

3. Manage and operate database system to ensure and monitor

system reporting quality.

4. Perform analysis and auditing on eCommerce websites, checking

their Validation Compatibility, broken images, Broken links and

language content.

5. Analyze the audit data and create insights about the top

performing products, error free web pages etc.

6. Document the error reports to prepare MS-Excel dashboard and

weekly reports to present them to the Associate Process Manager.

7. Obtaining the significant documents using the database

management tools and organize them for the Administrators in a

way that is both efficient and understandable.

8. Escalate, collect and Coordinate documents with clients regarding

bugs and issues through emails.

Can you please confirm if these roles got approval or you submitted some other roles.
