I think a lot of people have applied under 1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management in under both the new and old system that is why the cap for this class is easily reached. Considering the purpose of the programme itself, they want an all round thing not specific job related applications. I hope this new cap system will be of benefit to the old applicants as there will be less applications to process cos few people are applying under the other job classifications. I see cases been processed on a faster basis!!GOOD :LUCK EVERYONE!

;D :'(
older applicants don't fall under the quota, only the post jun applicants fall under quota.
Hi,
I was thinking to apply under 1122 but my designation is Sales Executive..Does it matter or only job responsibilities on the company letterhead will matter.
Soon i will be getting married so should i apply with my husband or wait for some more time..Please help.
As far as I know 1122 quota is finished for this period, but you should check online to make sure.

Yes CIC are no longer accepting applications under 1122 NOC code under category 1. The only way to apply with this experience prior to 1st July 2011 is with a job offer under category 2.

Hi,
Do you guys know if the position of "Total Rewards Analyst" is considered part of the noc 1122?
It's an analyst who works in compensation and benefits and analyze and define the best rewards programs for the organization.
I have another question: do you know how long usually it takes to get an answer from Immigration after applying under this cathegory?
Thank you!
Hello ....
Can anyone please guide me in this...
I'm a Market Research Analyst and have been in this business since a little over 2 years now. The NOC job desc. is absolutely aligned with what I do ... and can show as well.... but the titles are more aligned in the NOC (maybe 4163 or something like that!).
Is it ok if I were to go ahead and apply under this NOC?
Regards / SMAK
Dear Sir/Madam.
Looking at the list you have provided- I am unsure about which category do I fit in. I have a Master of Science in Business Administration Degree and A Bachelors of Computer Arts Degree. My previous job titles include: IT Coordinator and Creative Manager ( One year experience and have been giving strategic marketing advices and other support to the CEO/Management, provided with advertising, graphics, printing), Creative Manager (One year includes campaign designing and promotion), Graphic/ Web designer (Marketing of software online, creating graphics). All together I have 3 years of experience- in addition to 2 years of freelance graphic web designer.
Out of the list- I feel the ones below refers to my work, but how do I know which one will make my case stronger?
1. organizer, advertising campaign
2. product manager – marketing
3. promotion strategies consultant
4. marketing specialist – advertising
5. consultant, advertising
6. consultant, management
7. advertising campaign organizer
Also, I don't have a job there- so absolutely clueless about how many points I will make and whether do I qualify or not? Please help- Would appreciate it a lot.

If yes ...then if my experience letter shows I had worked with LEAN/Six sigma /Industrial engineering...will visa officer be able to figure out my roles which are indeed in the domain of BPR OR should the letter categorically mention that I worked in BPR????
I shall be thankful if I get your valuble advice little fast as I am at the verge of applying.

a) Am I eligible for this category?
b) If so, then what title do i use in the Occupation Field in Schedule 3 i.e. Marketing Manager or one of the sample titles that fits my experience.

Hi there,
I'm in a similar position to you (market researcher, 8 years of experience) and I've changed my mind from applying from NOC 1122 and decided to go for Quebec instead because my experience doesn't exactly match with NOC 1122.
However have you received any advice from elsewhere? Would be interesting to share opinions because we can guide each other potentially.

I do think you qualify, depending on what job descriptions you right. and please do include in parenthesis the job title in NOC 1122 that your work is most likely to fall in order to guide the assessors as to the similarity of your job title in Canadian terms. As for me, my job title is Admin Officer, but I work as Organization and Methods Officer under NOC 1122...Just make sure that your HR officer will sign it for you.
