NO UPDATES ON MEDICAL RESULTS

We applied for family class sponsorship to sponsor my wife and her family. In order to fast track our applicaion we hired immgration consultant in Vancouver to process our documents. we completed and submitted the documents on March 16, 2018 and the IRCC emailed that they received our application. September 18, 2017 they requested for Medical Exams for the PA and her dependent children. We forwared the medical results October 2, 2018.

Last month January 25, 2018 I recieved an email thru our consultant that the IRCC told me that I passed the requirements or met the requirements as sponsor. now I checked the status on our application online.

on PR status for my wife it says “IN PROCESS” the latest update that is indicated is medical received which means they haven’t submitted the results of our exams and it’s already been 5 months since we submitted our medical exams.

im a bit confused on our timeline because usually our consultant updates us normally when they receive updates from IRCC.

if the status indicates medical received.....then the medical has been received....most spousal sponsorship are processed within 12 months

I mean they haven’t updated us regarding the results of our medical exams.

Im on the 11th month now.

I believe it is showing in ECAS as "medical results received" it means that the medical is passed. IRCC doesn't send an email or letter update when the medical is passed, you can only see the change in the GCKey line.

Thank you for this, unfortunately when I tried to link my application on GCKey it wont let me through it says “no found” that’s all i wanted to know.

Does this mean that my the application for PR for my wife is about to be approved?
