NO Update since Submission of Documents

Hello Folks,

I am kind of curious since there has been no update in my EE application status, since I have submitted my documents on February 12, 2016 and received the AOR on the same day. Below is the current status -


Application/profile status : Open
Review of eligibility: Review in Progress
Review of medical results: Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents: No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time
A background check is needed: Not needed at this time
Final Decision: Not started

Is this common? I have noted majority of members having their medicals passed within a week or an additional two days. Could applicants here provide me their insight?

I was in the same boat where there was no update on my medical for couple of months. I was on vacation during that time I got mail in my post box to do x-ray again but no updates on myCIC. All the best.

Very normal... You are FSW inland... You got AOR only 2 weeks ago... You have 4-5 more months of wait... Now starts the long wait...

JK_CAD - Do re-do X-ray in post box?? You mean a physical letter to your mailing address?

That is ridiculous. Dont they email rather than mail the requirements?

Yes, actually in post box of my apartment not any e-mail. I was on vacation just for a month and had no idea that they would actually send a physical post. They gave time to re-do it within 90 days so had enough time to re-do it. Not sure whether they have improved the system or not so that you get email in myCIC.

This is very scary. Still I guess compared to you I should be grateful for small mercies (ie Medicals Passed).

Hope you get an update soon (Medicals Passed at least).

This is unbelievable. On the one hand they introduce the EE system to partially reduce paper documents and on the other hand they physically mail out requests for additional information.

I really don't understand how CIC works.

Thank you, they need to work on some process improvement for EE, I ordered GMCS notes last month, I will see how it looks

Did you ever contact CIC on this? If yes, what did they say?

Even your medicals have not passed yet?

Contacted CIC, they say as long as it's within 6 month, they wont do anything....

CIC only commit to processing a majority within six months, if you are expecting major developments within 10 days, you are in for a very long five months.

It can take up to three months to pass the medicals.

You are within both of these time frames (by a long shot).

While it is difficult, we need to stop reading into all of these details so much.

My medicals is not updated for BOWP neither
