Yes I did contact my local member parliament in July and then in August........ugggh still awaiting to hear from IRCC.... nothing is working out seems like the Minister of Immigration and Refugee has no control on IRCC,,,, whatsoever application received February 25th 2019,, test and interview September 30th 2019, decision made March 4th 2020,,,, OATH ceremony no clues when
So I contacted my local MP and today they sent me a email that IRCC sent out a letter for virtual ceremony on the 21st September. The problem now is that I have not received any such letter either in the mail or through email. Does anyone know if they sent out invites through regular mail instead of emails?
I became a Canadian Citizen on September 1, 2020 and received my certificate today September 18th, however my ecas still says decision made. Today's fulfillment was 6 years in the making, I am finally done with all of these immigration paper work. Congratulations to all the new Canadian's and for those in the making, big congrats when it happens .
Did you receive your invite through email or regular mail? My local MP said I was invited on 21 September but I haven't seen anything in the mail. I'm in Edmonton as well.
