Thanks. I have entered real BA flights that are very cheap (get confirmation from the Bank, where you will like to made payment) - the secret is to book at least 4-5 weeks in advance. If this happens, then, it will be a serious integrity issue with BA. From the BA, I know, they will not like such an issue raised against them.
I booked our KLM flight to calgary 3.5 months in advance and also with a tweak from Gabil, i got a very cheap price.

Hi people,
Just checked my status on line with the UCI number that i was using and it boldly showed my names and contact address. It also stated that my application was received on the 26th of september.Again ,it states that it is in process.
How about this?
Broda, you're right on track! Congratulations!! Now the wait... It won't be for long though, at least you won't have to worry much longer; knowing if u're in or not
Since you can access your ECAS, either you receive the PER or not, I believe you're just good.
Wishing you the best in the remainder of the process.
Cheers bro

Thanks, all for your contributions......
It will be scary if it turns out to be Iberia.....
Anyway, the itinerary specifically says LHR, so, I guess there's nothing to worry about.
Gentleandrew, congratulations! Your PER is knocking!!!!

Seniors in the house I need your expert advice and guide ASAP as I need to make a decision now...My wife needs to renew her passport now as it expires in february 2014,this is because we are travelling out of the country this december and its not valid for upto 6months....now she has her maiden name on it and that is what we filled in our forms sent to AVO.On this renewal she is changing her Surname to my name(our Marital name).Should I immediately send her new data page with the change of name to AVO or hold on awhile? If I am to send it can I scan and send it to them via their online portal or DHL it?..Please I need to know the best move to make right now..Thanks alot
It's important that you send the latest passport page to AVO prior to when your visa will be issued. You can send them an email with a scanned coppy of the new passport page - if you've had previous e-mail correspondence with the handler of your file, make sure to send the email directly to him/her.
Concerning retaining the maiden name or not - the choice is actually yours. But if your wife is opting to use your surname on the new passwort, make sure to include supporting documents that would prove that the change of name is legit (usually a sworn affidavit and public notification in one of the popular newspaper should do).
