Thanks a lot, Preferred. I also think it would be better to register after AOR has been received but in time for interview. I have opened the website but it's in french and my skills at not up to B2/C1 yet. I am still learning.... ;D
Will keep trying to gather more information though. Thanks, again
my American Express credit card was charged by quebec this evening. am guessing AOR or CSQ should be on the way. I really wish my wife gets point for AOT bcos her degree is economics and statistics and without her point in AOR we have 62 points already.
Congrats. They would have sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of documents and charging of your money. They will also specify if it is under priority or not. This will determine if you will be interviewed or waived.
i just finished speaking with them, it was confirmed my file was opened on 4th july and the payment was received on 23rd july. i was asked to look out for the email between now and monday. i really hope its a CSQ if not i have just 1 point to fight for at the interview.
If you scored 12 or 16 points under your area of training and your wife's area of training is considered for points, then your case will be that of priority-no interview(CSQ direct).Until you receive the e-mail/letter,all the best.
Just wondering if the new rules will be applicable to those who had submitted before the new rules came out. Anyone with this update should please indicate so we are aware.

Hey Liss, new rules will apply to those applications that are yet to undergo preliminary processing. There have been various interpretations of what preliminary processing is.... keep ur fingers crossed.

Yeah, the thing is even with very high score, you can still be interviewed. But people with 12 or 16 points in their area of training and good grades in their french language test will likely get interview waiver.
If you really want to actualise this your Canadian project dream, think twice about Quebec option. In my opinion, these people are out to cheat on all old applicants, thus shine your eyes.
For instance, those that have applied since 2011 could not be ascertained as having scaled through preliminary evaluation, which means they could still processed under the new rule.Food for thought.
In view of the above, I would advise that you go ahead and apply for FSW or Australian Immigration. With the Auzzie immigration you could still continue to follow the processing of Canadian immigration. My 50 cent.
