Hello Guys! Is someone in my situation and how long did you wait for a test invite? Below is my timeline.

Below is my timeline ***Citizenship Application***
Type: Online Application
Location: Ottawa, ON
Processing Office: Niagara Falls (I found this when I contacted IRCC via telephone)
Presence:1230 days
Application: Single
Application Sent: Oct 5th, 2022
AOR: Oct 19th
Background check: Jan 12th, 2022(Completed)

***No movement since then. When can I expect an invite to the test? I have seen many applicants receive test invites. I sometimes wonder does it depend on the area where your application is getting processed.*******

Not sure which office our application is but my wife and I applied online - AOR - May 2 - had our BG cleared in Nov 2022 (Nov 1 and Nov 17) and have been waiting ever since for the test invite!

Am sure there are many others with offices across Canada in similar or worded situations!

I think everyone should send email to IRCC and tell them how slow Niagara office is.

Has anybody gotten a test invite recently? If so, when was your BG was completed? I am at BG cleared on December 22nd and still no jew updates.

My oath was on Jan 18th from Niagara falls office and the application got closed around Jan 30th and yet to receive certificate

Got my certificate in the mail box today, might have been delivered a day or two before

Same situation as you. My BG was completed on Jan12 and waiting for test invite. All other tabs are marked “In Progress” except for citizenship test & ceremony. How about you?

Same here. Only update is BG completed on Dec 22nd. Finger prints were asked in October and done. No updates since. I hope the next couple of weeks will have a good news

Hi Everyone just created a WhatsApp for Niagara office applicants. It is obvious that Niagara office is way slower than other office, we need to gather more data and take some action to push them move faster.

Is everyone required to give fingerprints? I heard ONLY a few candidates were sent this request. Not sure what their criteria are. Hopefully, you will get a test invite soon.

Finally got all LPP completed over the weekend. All showing green except oath now. Hopefully they schedule oath within the next month or two so that I can plan some travel over the summer without having to worry about Ircc scheduling an interview or oath in the middle of my trip. And then delay the application because I stepped out of the country
