Hi guys, I have a question. I am an IOS Developer, and there is a 2022 Apple Worldwide Developer conference between June 6 to June 10. My friends and I are planning to go to Cupertino by car. There is no ticket or something (except hotel reservation) I can prove during the citizenship ceremony that I will attend on May 11.
It is so important because I will have a chance to meet many Apple developers during that time. Also, I am currently looking for a job.
Could they expedite the process if I explain this to the officer?
Even if they accept my reason, do you think I can do the same for my passport too?

Oath day: It looks like telling the officer alone may not be enough.
You attach the proof and request to send it soon whenever you are sending the oath form in email after the oath. For sure this works for many if they accept the request. Some officers for some of them told the same(to email the reason and request for it).
Passport walk-in: You can try to convince but if its not working then just book cancellable ticket and try it next day again. I dont know if all will be accepting the urgency without any proof.

I had my test email sent from Niagara falls and completed the test Feb 28. Everything got updated to complete on March 10th except Oath and I am still waiting to hear about a date for the oath? Is this time delay usual for Niagara Falls office or have they forgotten about me!! LOL. Thanks
@canadiantica15@lincolnys - since our oath is now done, how are you planning to send the signed oath letter? I think we all were in same ceremony at 8:15. The clerk at the end of the ceremony said they will send an email and we need to reply to that? Do we wait for their email or reply to the Oath invitation email?

Congrats All on taking the oath! We chose to print the form, sign and scan it. Just waiting for the office to email us so we can respond directly to that.

I have also not received any email. This is very strange, everyone usually replies on top of their oath invitation email but not sure why the clerk said they will email. Clueless what to do

Dont wait for their email to reply.
Use the format given in invite and email to the email id given in invite.
Yesterday we didnt notice that they said they would email but we sent the email immediately and file also got closed yesterday itself. So you dont need to wait for their email to send the oath form.
