wow, what do they say when you call them? processing time is 6 months now is routine, I was told the call center will contact office if it passes 6 months

They did contact the office. Everything is complete they said no worries

I am located in St Catharine and I am assuming my application handled there. AOR August 30. Ghost update on Sept 3ed and nothing after that!!

No one in the timeline thread answered my question. Why am I in the Niagara office when I live 3 hours away? I have to drive by other offices in order to get to Niagara Falls. I requested an in person ceremony.. will I have to drive all the way down there? Can I choose where I want to take it? I'm like between Peterborough and Belleville. Thanks!

You can't choose and we all don't live in Niagara but our files still processing/ Processed in Niagara.
Ppl had to travel to BC from Ontario to attend in person ceremony.
All you can do it to reschedule and mention why, then God knows when you'll hear back.

My partner and I are with them, it is painfully slow...my process is completed up to the oath, but his still has the background check to be completed since the last update on November 26th. I have seen people who applied around the same time or after already got their citizenship, it is a bit frustrating since I have a tight schedule and will need to travel in January...

From analyzing the data in the tracker, I see the most recent oath invites are from around November 22. So I'm guessing yours is going to come in the next week or so assuming everything is good with the background and not including additional time that for holidays?. Do you mind sharing your timeline from submission/AOR onwards?

Jkty42 - Can you please share when was your husband's background status updated?
We have the same situation. All green from me except oath but for my wife only background shows in progress while LPP and test are completed.
