Hi Hemal,

I did get an email with the subject line "TTP Application Status Change" both when I received Conditional Approval and then once it was approved (after the interview).

Same boat here I submitted in October. I tried to renew global entry as nexus so imagine we’re new apps and will have to interview but total silence still.

I have a question about residency requirement. The website says I should have been a legal resident of the US or Canada for 3 years and a current PR of on of these countries. Well, I am a PR of Canada and have lived in Canada for almost 2 years but I was in the US for almost 5 years just before entering Canada. Basically Aug 2016 to May 2021 in the US and from May 2021 to now in Canada. I was/am on a legal immigration standing in both the countries (no expired visa or illegal entry). Does this satisfy the residency requirement?

Do you know if recent travel to Cuba for US side interview is a problem? I travelled to Cuba within the last 6 months and I wonder if it is a problem for Canadian Permanent Resident using RTD.

My fiancée application since September 2022 got conditional approval yesterday close to 7 months , just booked FT Erie Niagara Falls Canadian 2 step interview then got to go over to the USA side to finish ,Sunday .

My fiancée application since September 2022 got conditional approval yesterday close to 7 months , just booked FT Erie Niagara Falls Canadian 2 step interview then got to go over to the USA side to finish ,Sunday .

Drove from Toronto to Ft. Erie this morning 1st interview nexus Canada side went smooth in out 5 mins then drove over Peace Bridge same 5 mins USA side 2nd interview ,officer told my fiancée card will be mailed in 10 days.

Both interviews was just to verify everything in the application was up to date .

Interview at border: April 28, 2023
Approval notification: May 1, 2023 (wife received this approval on the same day of interview, which was April 28)

Officer told me that the cards should arrive within 2 weeks. Overall, pretty fast and straightforward process.
