Tell him to defer and apply for January intake. Otherwise, his application will not be processed. Because after September 15, they will count application as late for September intake and don't really know what will happen. Tell him to defer and apply with updated LOA for January intake.

1. he already applied before for SEPT intake, it got rejected, reasons were not enough funds (he showed $90,000 CAD), and will not return to home country. will tell him to apply again for JAN intake.
2. i dont think he needs a new letter of acceptance from the university, since he already paid 1st semester tuition fee and he is currently doing online classes for 1st semester already. it automatically means he is enrolled. right?
If he applys again for January intake, he needs an LOA for January intake as all LOA has an expiry date.
You didn't share the full details otherwise, my reply would be different.
But it is wise to apply after getting the GCMS note as the main reason behind the refusal is stated there clearly and he can improve his file accordingly.

Im not sure about expiry date, but he is already enrolled in the university, paid 1st semester tuition fees, currently doing online classes for the 1st semester. So why does he need a new letter of acceptance for the 2nd semester, it doesnt makes sense.
Does this mean students with online studies will be allowed to return if they have permit issued before 18 March?
I am in India and have completed 75%course in Concordia university in Canada . I plan to return by January. Pls help

AIP is from immigration right? Then yes, he don't have it.
Since he already started his 1st semester, what can he do now (to prevent rejection)? Is it only the new LOA only or maybe we can explain in SOP why he started studying without study permit. The university also accepted this action (online classes without study permit/visa).
Students in areas of the world with open VACs will benefit. Many have complete applications so it helps international students with complete applications waiting for approval of study permits.
Not sure but really hope so. All of VACs have opened in China for months but none of us get full approval. Wish they will issue visas very very soon after today’s news

Hi. I have a question. I have filled my study permit form but I am confused about the signature part. Is it necessary to do electronic signatures? Or can we just print the form and sign it and upload the scanned copy?
