Thanks for signing CJG but I cannot take credit for posting :). I found it on another thread I read here on the forum and at least it gives up an opportunity to take some action with the Feds. Now back to my part-time job of waiting and stewing :P.

I like stew.

It would now have been faster for you to withdraw your application and re-apply. Do you know why they have delayed your application?

If I just knew that there is an outland application when I applied, probably I'm landed already...

Our application was transferred to a local office (Edmonton) and the waiting time there is 24 months... I'm on my 18th month! wuhoooo!

there were issues or RED FLAG as what they call it...which we answered honestly. every month since the transfer from Vegreville, we sent them stuff and more proof that we are a genuine couple...

the one's that we sent to them would be as thick as Webster dictionary already or even more... lol

for me, you know, just tell us what else they need, YES or NO! easy as that...this waiting game is really crazy!

At least you are here with your spouse. I'd rather that than being apart from my wife for the last year and a half.

Yup! I am lucky in terms of having my husband with me but life is not complete without my son with me :( i left him when he was 9 and now he is 12 years old.

I have a friend who came here as a nanny and then applied for her PR and it took 7 years until her husband and son could come over. He landed last February and she is already pregnant. LOL. Filipinos waste no time.

Salam and hi all I signed that petition yesterday.
Today I think I will contact MP Justin Trudeau. We are over the 28 months processing time. When we first applied it was 18 months, then 21 months, then 24 now its at 28 months we filed in Sept 2010. So we are at the 32 months and on last CAIPS notes March 15 the background check as still not even been started.

I'm so upset its like 3 1/2 years has been taken from my life...I don't know what to do anymore!

Justin Trudeau is a moron. Try to find an NDP MP.

Not only this news is BS, but unfair about where the files go and overseas processing is simply horrendous, these folks don't know how to read emails, respond with gibberish and have no common sense
Keeps getting worse

She really struggled with it and cried a lot. Having to watch her son grow up through Skype. Such a nice woman and hard worker. She didn't deserve that. She is very happy now though.
