Hi peeps! I would like to ask because my daughter was born outside the Canada and planning to move in Canada permanently on March 2016... Problem was I cannot apply her a PR because me and my wife has a work obligation outside Canada.. Can I apply a visit visa for my daughter and from there upon arrival can we apply her a PR? How does the process goes? Or what visa I can apply for my daughter while outside Canada? I am just worried that I cannot get my daughter with us in Canada... Please help.. Thanks

You can apply for a TRV for her. If it's refused you can try asking for a TRP instead. If that also is refused, one of you will have to move to Canada and sponsor her from there, leaving the other parent behind to look after her. You MUST be in compliance with the residency obligation requirements to sponsor and you must reside in Canada for the whole of the application process duration.
