Hi Guys,
I have 5 years travel history for New Zealand and they asked me to sign consent form 2nd time. I also want to send them ministry of justice's PCC ( although it's not acceptable) so could you please tell me Does ministry of justice send the PCC overseas as currently I'm in India. And when should I expect visa after sending consent form/ ministry of justice's PCC?
Not sure what you are asking, but if you are asking if New Zealand will send you a police criminal record check over seas the answer is yes .This service is free.I spoke to them last week .If YOU WANT A FULL REPORT YOU MUST WRITE IN APPLICATION THAT YOU WANT A FULL AND CURRENT REPORT.

CIC won't accept PCC from Ministry of Justice. You have to sign a consent of disclosure from and CIC does it itself on your behalf. But it's very time consuming process so I'm asking about any alternative.
Thanks.

There is no alternative. CIC tells you exactly what you must do, if you don't you can expect a refusal: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/new-zealand.asp
I'm a bit confused about the advice being offered here. The NZ criminal history record comes from the Ministry of Justice. You simply have to fill out this form:
http://www.justice.govt.nz/services/criminal-records/forms/request-by-individual.pdf and send it in. I'm not sure what SidhuBTI means by writing that CIC does it on your behalf? You should receive the record yourself and send it in with your application.
I found this whole process very easy and fast! I did it a while ago now, but I think the entire turnaround time from when I sent the request to when I received the report was only about a week. I was living in NZ at the time, so it would obviously take longer for it to get to India, But still, I would think that it would be a relatively painless process.
Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. Have you not been asked by CIC to fill consent form as on their website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/new-zealand.asp.
I did not provide PCC from Ministry of Justice as they say on their website it won't be accepted. So I just filled consent form and it's getting delayed. Now I'll send PCC from Ministry of Justice. Hope it will work for me.

That's not true my friend. I used to believe CIC website but now I don't . Here's the reason:
It's clearly mentioned on their website that CIC won't accept PCC issued by Ministry of Justice New Zealand. We have to fill consent form and they will contact New Zealand authorities on our behalf. So I did that. Yesterday I came to know by NOTES and MP that everything is OK on my file they are just waiting for PCC from New Zealand for last 2-3 months. While I didn't even have any speed ticket there.
So I came to know by searching on this forum that this is the common problem for people who have travel history to New Zealand. And there are heaps of people on this forum who did not fill any consent form, only sent PCC issued by Ministry of Justice ( it's not acceptable by CIC according their website ) got their visa without any problem. So now I have no reason to believe on CIC anymore.

hi SidhuBTI,
Sorry, you are right! I did also fill out the form you posted above and sent that along with my application. So truth me told, I'm not sure if CIC actually requested a record on my behalf, or if they just accepted the one I sent with my app. It's really weird that the CIC website says it won't accept a police record from the Ministry of Justice, despite that being the only place you can get one from! I would just get one asap and send it through - you should be totally fine.
just a heads up the telephone number for the criminal record check has been changed .Also my package can not be delivered to the address-on the forms Any one have any info for me .My tracking post says they are going to return my package because unable to delivery .. Help .. i emailed them but no response as of yet .I only called them a little while ago and they gave me the address and the telephone number worked then
