I guess, the stream in which you apply for the Permanent Residence matters from where you exactly get the email!

I might be wrong then! As far as I know, a bunch of my friends who applied under MPNP got their portal credentials from IRCC Calgary!

How to check PR card status in ECAS. I linked my portal to cic and the status over there is submitted. But when I try to type in my UCI number or application number in ECAS, I only get status of my PR application not the PR card application

Hi All,
I received first email from Etobicoke on July 15th 2021 to share my details to get the portal login credentials created. I did share details with them but as I was out of Canada I was being told to reach out to them when I am back in Canada.
And I did the same on August 31st 2021, however there is no response from them, I did try calling them but no luck to get thru the telephony agent.

I am wondering if I should go to their office in Etobicoke....not sure what should i do..

Can anyone please help me on how to reach out to them and get this sorted please.

Ohh! That is a new info. I thought it was same for everyone! Did you get the email for the portal from any of the IRCC offices in Canada or was it from the Virtual Landing Centre? Mine was from IRCC Calgary. Mine was PNP paper based application! There might be differences with the processing of the application depending on the stream, I guess!

I did not get any information from IRCC about linking the PR card application on GC Key. I did it before for one of my friends and thus, I knew it!

Yes I received the email from the Virtual Landing Unit so that is probably why there is a difference. Could you share the steps to link the PR card in GCKey? And when is the best time to do so? Thanks!

Portal emails and response- June 7
VO - Etobicoke

1st email: July 17 - came from VLU OSC
Credentials: July 18 - submitted everything same day.
Primary office: CPC Ottawa
Secondary Office: Calgary IRCC

I called IRCC last month and the agent said my VO is Ottawa
