New PR confirmation portal

I would love to hear from others on this too .... I received eCOPR on May 28th and am awaiting PR card..... my partner received his PR card though a couple of days ago though and in the portal his photo shows as 'under review' still, so looks like that doesn't always get updated.

My COPR is on May 20th. And I have a dependant. None of us have got a PR card yet.

Finally received COPR today
1st Email: May-30, 2021
2nd email(credentials): June-08, 2021
COPR: July-05, 2021
VO: OSC- Ottawa
CIC account is updated as approved but PR portal still says, Submitted/In-review ( no change other than download copr button)
Meanwhile: called IRCC, created Web-Forms, followed up on emails.

I totally understand how this random wait game feels like. But I truly wish that you get yours very soon and get out of this loop.

I sent documents for ecopr correction and it received by IRCC on 20th May. Still no update.
But today I saw Ghost update on my PR Card application

Hi.. I too have a correction to be made in my eCoPR (original entry date).. what is the mail id to which I can send for corrections?

My original entry date: 30 Sep 2008 (This is what I have sent to IRCC when I get the portal link 1st email)
My Latest entry date: 19 Jan 2019

but in eCoPR, both fields show as 19 Jan 2019

Just received the email with the subject "IRCC Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal", is it the COPR or the eCOPR or it just a normal email before they send another important email with credentials and temporary password? they just ask about
Name, UCI, email, Entry date , that's it.

This is the first email. Respond to that email with all the details they asked. they will send your credentials. Once the credentials are sent, you need to update your details and upload the photo in the portal. After that you will get your COPR.
Congratulations BTW, your application is approved now.

Guys, I got update and status changed to approved for my PR Card application under cic profile (not PR portal). it shows our card is being mailed on June 26.
how long it will take to receive it in mail?

Thank you. Never thought about the approval because Gc key and ECAS still show in progress and have not got Finalized yet.
Hopefully i can have the PR card soon.

Just a word to the wise: those who got the first portal e-mail today, please don't reply until next week. You'll likely end up stuck for at least a month if you do because of Canada Day and the gapped long weekend. Be patient and enjoy the weekend. You can respond next week and that will likely increase your odds of getting it within days instead of months.

Shit...I received the 1st email asking for UCI, Name, email, and Entry date on June30 so i replied right away, then i read this message. I think i've been in a limbo haha

It’s insane that someone get the credentials the same day as the portal Email and someone will have to wait to 30 days and more

we wont be able to create. only they can create and assign with a temp password.. with that credentials only, you can login and you will have to change the password after login..

it's not true, you CAN create and you MUST when you are applying for none Express Entry programs. I did and I got my COPR, please refrain from misinforming readers

It's not your fault, it's IRCC's fault due to this incorrect information:

How the portal works
Once we approve your application, we’ll

• send you an invitation to confirm
  • if you want to use the portal
  • your email address
  • all email addresses for each person on your application
• create an account for you (you can’t create one yourself)
• send another email, after you confirm the above, with a link to the portal and instructions on how to sign in with your username and a temporary password
