It Won't take 6 months. Just write letter of urgency. They will take it right away. And also you will receive the amendment document in mail in 2 to 3 weeks.
hey. It’s up to you to decide if you want to amend it or not. I decided to fix everything. It’s free so why not to make it accurate. The only tI’ve COPR would be required is during citizenship application. Current wait times are 6 months but it doesn’t matter, citizenship application is 2-3 years away so I don’t care if is 4,6, or 7 months. Everything is described here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...dence-valid-temporary-resident-documents.html
Just my opinion, It doesn't really matter to know the officer's name. They would have only created the login credentials for you. And I'm sure they might get offended if we send emails to their official email. Because as I see, we only see the agents ids instead of their real names in any of the e-mails we get.
Yeah I guess you’re right . But it’s a lil nerve wrecking when you have no updates to what’s happening and there’s delays in issuing documents while you see others getting it within a few days. They could at least give some information to what’s happening, “the officer handling your application is away, the machine broke, we ran out of ink“ etc.But you’re left in the dark just waiting. I’m pretty sure as people who submitted information in May we’re even supposed to be getting our PR cards in the mail by now.
