I wouldn't mind a second opinion on current scenario. My current visa runs out June 12th however, I received my login for the confirmation portal May 20'th. I uploaded the required info on the same day and along with quite a few on this forum, I am waiting on eCopr.
Is it worthwhile applying for a bridging visa? I can quite easily do it but would rather avoid the few hundred $ if its only going to in use for a few days?
very close, you can get COPR on any day. maybe this weekend. But I think you should be ready with the bridging application and be able able to apply in the last 3-4 days to maintain the status. But expert consultations are always advisable.
May I ask, why you guys are so nervous about exactly COPR? you application is approved (no landing for non-approved, right?) you got credentials, uploaded everything so what's the point? Ready to buy a house on a next day or current status is expiring? Just curious what leads to such a behavior
When did you receive your credentials email in the morning, afternoon, evening?
I resent them the 1st email today June 4
I feel so unlucky most people got with 1-2 days. I am been waiting for so long for this thing. My AOR is May 17, 2020.

It’s easy to comment without understanding what’s going on with other people. People want the process to be over to have a PR to apply for new jobs, some are fedup of the wait. Some are trying to get the PR cards so that they can go home since some countries only allow Canadian citizens or permanent residents to boards Canadian flights

btw im also waiting as all of them, don't worry, what's the point to write all this complains on a forums - i do not get it.. and it's a not stupid reason btw - saving 20%+ foreign buyer tax is not stupid at all.

Like he said, the way you said it sounds ignorant. Perhapt you didn't mean it.
But anyway, in my situation I am closing a house in two weeks, without CoPR I will have to pay extra tax and get refund later, which is annoying. Getting CoPR in time means a lot to me.
And yes, everyone's situation is different.

anyways i just don't understand why to put all this endless complains and cries on forum? to get some mental support from a ppl who are in a same situation? If so i got it maybe ppl do not have anyone to talk about it in person so that's fine. Status updates, knowledge sharing is fine, great and helpful, but this emotions in written form - not really. but that's just IMHO
Guys. I just got my credential email. Received first email last Friday. Regarding the photograph upload, can we submit the Same one as we shared during PR submission. As per them, the photo needs to be within last 6 months, but ours is from March last year. Thanks !!
