I think you were right. They have mentioned it on Twitter before.

Well I don’t think so. However I’ve stopped it after 2. I think it’s not helpful but will not do harm either. I think all depends on which office deals with it. If it is Ontario or Quebec it’s going to be a long wait… that’s why I would rather decline using portal and do anything else instead, phone call, interview in Service Canada or so.. really thinking about it., but will wait a bit more haha
Thank you so much. My next question is should I apply for sin number and health card right away or should I wait for the PR card? Some people here are saying they will issue you sin number till your ecopr validity that doesn’t make any sense to me

Don’t confuse people have you read link and whole thread? It’s not about PR but about authorisation to enter Canada during COVID. Don’t apply it to everything else automatically
There is no legal reason to refuse ‘because of emails’ lol
Hi, I recently got email regarding permanent residence confirmation portal. I provided details and replied back, any idea how much time needed to get portal login details?

If you don't want to accept the Portal, you should tell them with the first email...Btw, I think you did the right things tho because if you don't accept the email in the first place, you will have to wait a lot more than this. I hope you consider it well before acting with regret. Have a nice day, andreynitro.

No I agree what done is done. And now I see no sense of sending another mails again. Just sit and relax haha. I will wait for this cred for this and maybe next week and try to rise web form instead, which they should reply somehow. This would be more informative then duplicating mails for sure
You can try to twitt them, ask them specifically. " How can I get refuse with inquiring IRCC" or something like that because I want to know, too.
But I will definitely follow what they say and with their guidelines.
