you can choose to combine your files using one email address(Option A) or give access to your dependent(s), so they can take control and respond by themself (Option B). In your cases, your portal will show up with two profiles: one for yourself, another is for your wife. But if there is an update they will just notify you, but not both of you by email/ you guys can check regularly by logging in to your portal account.

They should have send us the credentials right away, the process doesn't make sense to be honest. I answered the email yesterday and now I'm already stressed out again. I'd have preferred that they called me instead of this.

I can see myself waiting as well, I added some text saying that I wanted option A. I hope that doesn't delay things.
