My spouse and I received our eCOPR today . However, there is an error in the original entry date. It says Jan 2019, though we entered Canada in August 2017. Does this need to be corrected?

From what I read from this forum, it creates a lot of hassles to have your CoPR corrected. The important thing is that you and your spouse have a proof of your PR, and once you receive your PR cards, the eCOPR will not matter anymore. So, it's up to you to decide to have it corrected or not.
By the way, congratulations. When was your second email and what is the Visa Office issued your eCOPR? Thank you.
