I just ignored old one and create a new one. The new one automatically shows everything the old one has. The old one throws an error on login automatically. There is no need to call anyone (atleast not in my case).

I applied SIN online and received it in a week for everyone including my minor daughter.

Means nothing much. Its junk and most often wont update even after folks received PR cards. Please link your PR card application to GCKey and check status there.

Yes, applied on 12th. Received on 23rd from New Brunswick for all three of us in three separate envelopes. Dest - Markham, ON

Yes. Once the GCkey shows approved on your original PR application. You can link your PR card application.

hi all, can somebody help on how far will the ircc accept a toddler photograph. We were unable to take photographs for my son as he would cry all the time. And at last we got a shot, but post i submittedthe photograph in the portal i see in a corner of the photo there seems an object, though i could not see it earlier. I could figure out only after a close look. Also he is looking some 5-10 degrees away from the camera. Can anybody let me know if ircc 1would be flexible with this?

Very difficult to answer. Please PM me the photo. Usually it should be ok as long as the face is clear and large enough. But very difficult to "guess" without the photo

yes face is clear with all the features visible. in any case, would i be able to change. Also what ll be the consequences of they not accepting the photo?

I already received eCOPR on July 20 and my address in portal is also accepted but photo is still under review, Now today I linked my profile in CIC account to check the status of PR card. I have question, if we already have a portal ( where we upload address and photo) to check PR card approvel and mailed then why we need to link with cic account or does it safe if you also have portal and you also link your profile with cic account to check PR card status?

By linking PR card appl to CIC account, you will get to know the progress of the card approval and issuance date.
I received GU update as well on my PR card application so I know some progress is happening after 10 days I get an update of card approved and mailed. Card document number and issuance date was mentioned at the final approval. So we get lot of information on CIC account on the other side, portal got updated the next day and it just showed accepted and closed. No details about when the card was dispatched and card issuance or document number.

Yes.. you do get an email saying there is an update in your application. But when you login to your account, there won't be anything; hence it is called ghost update

In my case, I didn’t receive any email notification for GU, but after few days when I got another update saying the Card is approved & mailed…I received the email notification after few hours!
