I attached it to my documents and explained the situation in the letter. To be on the safe side, include it in your application and explain you are going to get another one.

Why are you freaking out? I did the same thing because it made sense based on the guide. They know we submitted before they changed it. So, it's their fault, not ours! If they really want another format, they should open our applications again for updates like this.

I also did this. my passport photo is pdf, and I scanned the front and back (DOB, name and stamp showing). Are we not supposed to do this again?
Why would they change it after so many people have applied
