Their only use it to track your application, and even that is more trouble than it's worth personally, but general information about processing guidelines or policy interpretations they are a mixed bag.
This gives me some hope haha... because I remember someone posting here that they called IRCc and the agent gave them a web form. Let me wait and see. Haha
Do we have any other news on how it's going to be processed? If they can reject an application upfront, perhaps that means there's a R10 check after all...
Don't believe TOTALLY what the call center agents say. They are even more clueless about certain things than the social media ones. I bet another agent will tell you something totally different if you called tomorrow

An acknowledgement of receipt (R10 passed) letter is issued to an applicant (or their representative, if applicable) once their application for permanent residence has passed the R10 completeness check. The letter is issued by the Centralized Intake Office. If the application was submitted electronically, this letter is sent to the applicant (or their representative, if applicable) via their MyCIC account; otherwise, the letter is sent by mail. This letter should not be confused with the electronic receipt of the application for permanent residence letter. This is the official acknowledgement of receipt letter and it may be used to support a bridging open work permit if all other requirements are met.

I totally understand what you’re going through right now. I’m in the same boat. I got my forms filled through a representative. She messed up big time. She mixed up my job titles for 2 of my current jobs. Put 40 hours a week instead of 30 and even put the wrong UCI number in one of the forms.
I panicked when I reviewed my submitted application. I didn’t have anyone to talk to at that time since it was 3am. So I created a new account and submitted the corrected application. A lot of people are saying that they might automatically reject my second application due to being a duplicate.
I know it was my negligence since I didn’t review my forms before signing and submitting. I even got a lot of backlash from a bunch of people for taking 2 spots but they don’t understand that all of this happened because it was more like a race that day and everyone was in a hurry.
I also wasn’t able to sleep for the first 2 days as I worked really hard to get all the required documents in time.
I’m gonna call IRCC in the morning tomorrow and you should do the same as only IRCC can tell us the next steps.
Please don’t stress yourself and live your life normally. I hope this helps.
When you apply, you will need to prove that you have valid status, and are living in Canada when you submit your application and when IRCC makes a final decision on your application.
To prove your status in Canada you must submit a copy of your most recent immigration document such as work permit, or study permit.
My wife just received her English test results. There is no new number; just a registration number she had ever since she registered. Not sure about IELTS, but with CELPIP you can't check if someone has test results or not. This is probably why they didn't set this up as a mandatory field before applying.

No, I meant for them not implementing a check at the application level, as some (chatty lawyer) said it would be. That you need to enter your test result number to be able to access the application.

Yeah that was surprising since its there in EE and new study permit portal. They really put too much faith in us as a result a lot of spots have been wasted.
