New PGWP Extension (Opt-in): email confirmation?

for those with an incorrect address or passport number, what did you do? wondering if submitting a webform now.

No, I did not receive any confirmation.

When did you opt-in? I got my approval notice yesterday, after 7 calendar days. I am not sure if raising a webform is the best approach to deal with the wrong address issue...

I applied (opt-in) on 13 April.

Does the approval notice come on email or gckey?

I just receive an approval for my extension. But they started the 18 months counting today. My PGWP was expiring this September 2023. The approval for the 18 months is dated today, valid until 12 October 2024. So basically I got a total of 13 months extension.

I also have a pending closed WP application, under my OINP nomination. Submitted last September 2022, I have no update whatsoever...

I received an email that says my GCKey has been updated and instructed me to sign in. After signing in, there was an update on my old PGWP application saying my application was approved.

Just got my new PGWP in the mail.
Never received a correspondence letter in my account and they did not include one in the envelope. Guess they realized the address was glitchy for some people.

I received my new work permit in the mail today too. Passport information is incorrect, any idea what to do and if this affects travel?

In case this helps I never got an email confirmation but I did show a message when trying to apply that I already applied.

Also seems the PGWP is 18 months from time of approval, not for when the visa ends.

How long did it take for you get the PGWP in the mail once the letter of approval arrived in your cic account?

does this mean that you got the “technical difficulty” error when you first opted in? That’s the issue I had - and then it says that I’ve already opted in.

If you applied to the new temporary policy to extend PGWP, did you get a confirmation email? I didn't, the screen only said my form was successfully submitted once I was done.

Same, I tried 3 times in the morning where they said they are experiencing tech difficaulties. I was gonna try in the afternoon then there's a message saying I already opt-in.
