I have re-applied the visitor visa for my spouse from the portal on Sept 28th. Has anyone got any intimation for such reapplications for spouse especially? Most of the posts which I see are for parents

Applied for family reunification with my spouse. no update. timeline:
1st app: March 2, 2021 (gckey)
Biometrics: March 5, 2021
- no update -

2nd app: Sep 18, 2021 (gckey)
Request Letter: Sep 28, 2021 ( request letter for biometrics receipt)
Eligibility Started: Oct 7, 2021
- no update -

mine tomorrow will be 30 calendar days... im starting to believe that the new portal is using AI system to pick up applications for officers.. that why some people are getting response in 1 week and some are still waiting...

I think the indicated timeline by IRCC for priority applications is 14 to 30 business days. Start counting from the following business day of submitting a "complete" application. And for the purpose of your calculation, exclude Canadian federal and statutory holidays.

A complete application includes your main application package + biometrics.

2nd application is mostly complete the day you submit it since it already has your biometrics. Considering this 30 business days comes to about 42-45 calendar days.. fingers crossed.

Eligibility Check has started on 2nd application when I checked the status today. 1st application has no new update. No emails yet. Hopefully I will get a result soon

@PrasannaGTA check your application too. That might have some update.

No emails as mentioned previously. I just checked it in the application by logging in.
