I am a Canadian living in Canada and I am sponsoring my wife under family class. My wife lives in the Philippines

We completed my most all the forms together when I was visiting in December 2015 -- including my sponsor Imm 1344 "which my wife signed"

I was about to mail the entire package when checking the government website I noticed a new version of IMM 1344 dated March 2016 !!! (horror)

Thats a problem and I need some ADVICE

1) can I take the last page of of the old IMM 1344 which has is only for signatures and contains my wife's signiture and include that in the new
Imm 1344 which I will complete now... i.e , just take the old back page with signatures

2) Do a new Imm 1344 again as above and:
2a) take the last page which requires my wife's signature, attached it to an email and send to her as an attachment
2b) my wife prints the last signature page, signs it, scans it and send it back to me as an email attachment
3) I attach it to my new Imm 1344

I don't know how else to do it.. it can take 3 wdeeks to get mail in teh Philippines and the teh same to return here to Canada.
To send a letter only by courier can cost up to 100 dollars !

I am frustrated with this discovery... and yes, I should have checked . but I didn't

thanking anyone who can rescue me
:'(

Paul

I don't think you should. Because all the forms have the date on the bottom when they were introduced - and you are supposed to use the current one. By doing what you are proposing, you are taking a chance.

1. No.

2a,b. No.

3. No.

Your only option

1. Fill the form and print it and Fedex (or UPS etc) to your wife and have her sign and courier it back to you.

All signatures must be original, especially the undertaking.

Make sure you check that everything else is up to date to avoid having to pay to courier twice.
