If you have any name match or record, FP process can take up 120 days as per RCMP.
If you don't have any record, you will be getting an Oath within 2 months.
Finally RCMP forward my results to CIC after 4 months and one week, another waiting period starts now.

Just an update. Was requested for FP (Oct 14th 2015) after submission of application. Sent the FP within a week. None since then. Nothing in sight. When I call CIC office they refuse to even take my File Number to check.

4 months it takes from the fingerprints taken to getting the oath.at leastmine it took 4 and one week. But all depends on eqch individual case i guess

i didnt get it .. rcmp didnt release my finger prints although today 4 months has passed .. and once they will receive i dont know how long cic will take after ... but still cic is waiting for finger prints to be cleared from rcmp .. god knows what rcmp is up to

my finger prints was received in exact 4 months . 20 days has been passed after finger print but nothing happen yet the only thing happend to my file is decision made that's it .

I got the FP request on January 11, 2016 and sent it within one week. E-cas updated to DM on March 7, waiting for oath letter.
I expect oath invite for both of u soon. Dm is a BIG step
I have a question though.. Were u asked to send ur fingerprints to st. Clair office??
