Friends i sent my pasport to chc 18 july but now no update from chc ,ecas not shows 'medical received'why its take so long ?also i didnt received any rprf receipt ,

Sadeep - Good to know. How much time they took to send ur CAIPS? and what has mentioned for Security/BC related below codes:

T-13 SECURITY DECISION (BDEC)

* 1 passed
* 2 omitted - all under 18
* 3 incomplete
* 4 failed

T-13 FINAL DECISION (FINDEC)

* 1 visa issued
* 2 permit issued/to be Issued
* 4 refused
* 5 withdrawn


SECURITY DECISION (SDEC)

* 1 passed
* 2 omitted
* 3 pending
* 4 refused

CRIMINALITY DECISION (CDEC)

* 1 passed
* 2 omitted
* 3 pending
* 4 refused

Hi tim50,

I got my Caips notes after a long waiting, infact after more than two months. My status is as under:-

BDEC - Empty
FINDEC - 0
SDEC - 1
CDEC - not available in the notes

I still did not know the reason of delay on my case. Please suggest me something.....

In any case, I believe you will get your passport back before 25th of this month. All the best.

BDEC-empty means Background checks are still on.
Instead of CDEC check for SEC CRIM
What does MEDEC say?
OREQ & FINDEC will turn to 1 the day your Visa is issued !

MEDDEC - 0 - Medical decision is also pending. But there is M1 code mentioned for medical that mean passed. They will update this at the same time of final decison.
OREQ - 0 -> no other docs requirement as of now.
FINDEC - 0 - Final decision is pending

SEC CRIM ---> It means passed for your and your wife. Omited for children.
Me - 1
Spouse - 1
Children - 2

Tim50 has explained it all....however MEDEC should be 1. Does your medical detailed summary show anything unusual?

SEC CRIM is the Criminal Check (based on the PCC you submitted). Since below 18 do not require PCC, 2 is the code for exempt.

For medicals pls. post what is given in detailed medical summary.

My Application status is also "Decision Made" from 6th Sep,

that's very good - you should be getting passports any day . BTW when have you sent the passports , can you share more information about your file
