Its good to send additional proof if possible. If CHC does not need, they will ignore that, thats all.
If you have invitation in English you can send i feel. May be as Thomas said, it may remove another delay.

I received my passport with the Maple leaf Visa stamped for me and my family.


I am sooooooo happy and relieved - it feels great to be on the other side. I have to be in Canada before Oct 2011 it seems the date is same as my medical date. Please update the table. All the best to all of you ..I guess the Visa for most of you guys must be in the mail and will start pouring in from this week and the status change might happen next week.

That was indeed fast, less than 30 days after PP submission.

Lets hope all others in waiting start getting the visas in first half of Jan

Thanks Ankit and your discussion topic was a great help in tracking my progress. Once I received my medical request I was not too much worried. I was only worried about my passport being stuck as I have to travel a lot for my work. I believe they were processing my case as usual and did not wait for my physical passport as my file was "in Process" since Sept 28th. Thanks for your wishes and lets connect in Canada I will send you my personal email ID in your mail.

CIIP session will be held in CHANDIGARH on 1st Feb, 2011. Anyone interested to attend that session can call at 011-30614608 to get enrolled.

Online database is not working, so you need to call the above mentioned number to get a seat in the session..
