My consultant has sent me a mail saying that CHC doesnot issue a visa in NOVEMBER and DECEMBER ..SO wait till JAN..

IS it True ...????

Are CHC visa officers are in XMAS mood from NOVEMBER only??


This cannot be true. If they were not to issue PR visas in Nov/Dec they would not have sent PPRs in October. They can't be so inconsiderate to hold on to our passports longer than the minimum required period unless there is a valid reason. Remember there are many applicants residing abroad who may need to travel due to personal or official reasons. How can they be so callous!

Guys, I hope that we get some updates today.

My guess is that this is how it should work afte issue of Medicals

1st Day Meds are issued and 45th Day is BFD. 7th Day meds received and 15th Day Meds done, 20 th Day meds received by CHC and their medical officers review the report and takes appropriate action, if all is well the med ok is attached to file by lets say 40th Day ( I am giving 20 days to Medical offficer). In the mean time PP is received as well and attached to file. 45th Day Visa officer takes a decision based on the information on file (PP amd Meds). Will Issue the Visa and send to stamping department which may take 7 days. So in 60 days from Medicals issue date applicant should get PPT back with Visa

If meds are done late and Medical officer report is not in file on 45th Day then may ne another BFD is assigend to file which may be 20 days after the 45th Day.

So lets see how it gets from here.

They identify the mistake owner to verify whether you need to pay fees gain or not.
Your Mistake - you Pay full fees again
Their Mistake- No fees

One page correction form is there, if it is their mistake you get it in 3 days. Meet the PP officer and discuss your case

I think, ECAS has not been updated yet. because there is no updates from any one of any category.

hi ankit,.....in my case its been 63 days since medical was issued to me...... meds was issued on 20 sep...... meds done 4 oct, reports reached chc on 8 oct.... and pp reached chc on 15 oct...and rprf on 22 oct.............. i dont have any travel history my pp is as blank as empty space and medcal also went of well i assumed as it has already been more than a months , had there been problem with midecal chc nd would have intimated me much earlier....so my friend what can be the reason for such delay........???? actually nothin is certain here , any ways keeping my fingers crosssd for this month.......

You are right Benjamin, nothing is certain here. My post was just reflection of my assesment of how things must be getting processed. There are so many variables like rush for student visa etc that play a major role which may be causing delay. We can do nothing abt situation other than to wait.

yes ankit bro.......... only option we have is " waiting " " waiting '' and waiting......... ur analysis to some extent is correct coz there are many in this forum who got their visa..... within 30 days time.... so lucky fellows

What a dull Tuesday! No progress anywhere. CHC folks seem to be fast asleep at least as far as PR visa stamping is concerned.

Guys I feel that they would be sending bunch of passports with Visa together as they have stopped the processing new application packets ( full documents sent). The next updates should be in Mid Dec with bunch of visa issues and then again they will be on track. I think another few months and they should be clearing the back log

If that happens brother....Big Big treat from myside....Only for ya....where ever you say....Whenever you say and any city of the world.....every tuesday i am checking the ecas with a hope and disappointed every week....had a word with the consultant she said may take till Mid of december...as CHC is usually slow in november and december as top officials go on vacation during this period....lets see ...
